Parent Support

“If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl, but by all means, keep moving.”

- Martin Luther King Jr.

Being a parent can feel like navigating a storm without a map. You’ve tried everything, but you’re still asking, What am I missing? What am I doing wrong?

Parenting is the hardest job you’ll ever have. The tough moments can feel endless, while the beautiful ones pass too quickly. It’s important to reset and cherish the moments of joy and connection—they are fleeting. When we celebrate our children’s intensity, we nurture the changemakers of the future. All feelings are welcome, and our children need to know that.

Our Approach

Let us Say it Again… Nothing is Wrong with You.

Perhaps you’re stuck asking yourself, “Why can’t I help my child? What’s wrong with me?” Here’s our truth: nothing is wrong with your child. Nothing is wrong with you. Both of you are doing the best you can. But sometimes, we all need support.

Sometimes life throws unexpected challenges—separation, a traumatic event, or even seemingly good changes, like welcoming a new addition to the family, can unsettle the dynamics. Or perhaps you have an intense, strong-willed child and find yourself overwhelmed.

Parenting has a way of bringing so much to the surface, forcing us to confront our own patterns, fears, and emotions.

By addressing these challenges with awareness and support, we have the power to be the cycle breakers—to create lasting change for our children and ourselves.

We will hold space for you and all your feelings, so you can create more space to support your child's big emotions. You don’t have to do this alone—we’re here to help.

NURTURED HEART APPROACH® & RELATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE

Parent Coaching

We provide coaching to provide parents with the skills to enhance their relationships with their children and help them understand the underlying issues that are creating these struggles. All behaviors have a meaning and our job is to help you gain insight into what is going on for your child.

Most importantly, we help parents become self-aware of their reactions, take a pause, and reset so you can reframe through the lens of your children and recognize so much more is going right than wrong.

Our parent coaching is based on the Nurtured Heart Approach® integrated with relational neuroscience. This is an effective social-emotional framework that strengthens relationships among family members, couples, schools, facilities, and workplaces by the intentional direction of emotional energy. This approach is particularly effective when working with intense or challenging behaviors and personalities. It will give you a new outlook on how to enhance and celebrate the greatness of children and most importantly how to not get energized by negativity. It is a game changer for everyone!

Children do not awaken by fear of punishment, they awaken to their greatness.

  • Yes! We recognize how hard it can be to fit sessions in around the demands of family life. That’s why we offer the flexibility and convenience of online support to residents anywhere across the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and beyond.

Simply find a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection, and you're all set!

  • Each parent coaching session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. We typically recommend starting with weekly sessions to establish a strong foundation, but as you progress, coaching can be adjusted to biweekly, monthly, or as needed, depending on your preferences and situation.

Our goal is to equip you with the tools and strategies for success, so you can approach parenting with confidence. Once you've established a supportive and nurturing relationship with your coach, you'll have ongoing access to guidance whenever you need it—whether things are feeling tough or you just need a reset.

Just like we meet your children where they are, we meet you where you are, offering the flexibility and support that suits your journey.

  • We strongly encourage both parents to be involved in parent coaching, as it helps ensure that everyone is on the same page and working together to support your child. Whether you're parenting in a single home or co-parenting, consistency from both parents is key to your child’s well-being and development.

If there is tension or challenges within the relationship, we can hold separate parent sessions to provide space for each individual’s perspective and needs. If one parent is not yet ready to be involved, we do our best to work with the available dynamic and give you the support you need to navigate the situation effectively. Our focus is always on providing the guidance and tools that will help you and your family thrive.

Our daughter looks forward to her visits with Tammi & feels a sense of calmness just by walking into the office. After parent sessions, we feel empowered to help our child and to be empathetic to the struggles that she faces. We've seen tremendous growth in our daughter's ability to deal with stress and adversity in her life."

  • "My phone consultation with Tammi was very helpful. We talked through several issues that have concerned me about my son for a while now. Tammi helped me to articulate the problems and provided me with tips, ideas and resources that I can use to start helping him at home.
